hi, I’m Ciara

My pronouns are she/her, I am a mother, partner, creator and seeker of beauty in this world. I am a certified birth doula, bereavement doula, a photographer, and midwife. I have been attending births for the past 10+ years. I love to be outside, read, paint, make kombucha, have uncomfortable conversations, explore and I am visibly pierced and Tattooed.

My passion for birth started while expecting my second child and grew like wild fire. I received my doula certification and training through Birth Arts International. As a doula I strive to create a safe, peaceful environment regardless of birth choices or circumstances. I believe education is our strongest tool and encourage all my clients to understand all their options. I believe there is no one right way to give birth and believe birth gets to look different for all people and all bodies. I have attended over 400 births.

I am currently attending births as a doula, a photographer and documenter. From Olympia to Seattle and all surrounding areas, in home, birth center and hospital settings.

I am also a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) and Licensed Midwife, I completed my BSM through the Midwives College of Utah. I am currently working as a midwife with Vashon Island Midwifery. I take a very small number of doula clients a year, space is limited.
