doula support
A doula is an emotional and physical support person during pregnancy and labor. Doula care looks a little different for everyone. Providing education, preparation and planning for birth, full and continuous labor assistance and postpartum support.
I believe that all birth is valid and there is no “right” way to give birth. Birth gets to be individual. I work hard to encourage my clients to seek evidence based research and to make decisions that are best for their bodies and their baby. I am here to help you feel as supported and emotionally safe as I can.
As a doula, I work hard to provide a supportive and peaceful environment for my clients regardless of circumstances or the details of their birth, and without judgement. I attend births in all settings: hospital, home and birth center. I serve Pierce, King and parts of Kitsap and Thurston Counties.

birth planning + preferences prep
I offer sessions to counsel and assist you with birth planning and prep. This is specifically designed for people who want to gather information regarding labor and birthing options but aren’t interested or able to have a doula at their birth. We do 2 meetings prenatally to discuss your specific birthing preferences and I will guide you with how to navigate these conversations during your labor. This is especially great for people planning a hospital birth.
2 prenatal meetings: typically each meeting is about 1-2 hours
Education on birthing options, interventions, emergencies and post birth recommendations
Tips on navigating conversations with your care providers
Custom Birthing Preferences plan typed up and emailed to you after our meeting
1 post-birth debrief and processing meeting
*This services is exclusively offered virtually
birth photography + videography
Photography and videography is an invaluable way to document your birth story. It can be incredibly helpful and healing to have a physical way of processing your birth. I have been photographing births for 10 years and am happy to additionally offer birth videos. As a photographer, I strive to provide non-invasive, raw artistic photos. I am here to capture your story and it’s an honor to be part of it. Photography and videography can be catered specifically to each individuals needs and desires.

1 complimentary introduction meeting
1 prenatal appointment (if needed)
24/7 on call from 37-42 weeks

bereavement services
In addition to birth services, I am also a certified bereavement doula. Doula support around the time of loss can greatly help the birthing family, but also the family members (siblings, grandparents, etc.). Sometimes we know loss will happen in advance and we can start making arrangements ahead of time. But sometimes loss is sudden and support is needed right away.
If you, or someone you know, is experiencing a fetal or infant loss and wants to talk about support, reach out right away (here). If I am not available, I will connect you with someone who is.
Typical resources offered:
Prenatal counseling and support: Grieving and processing, birth planning and afterbirth planning
Support during the birth and immediate postpartum
Photographs of your baby
24 hours available support as needed (phone or text)
2 follow-up postpartum visits after baby
Follow-up check in: Multiple times throughout the year after birth
